New Delhi: Calcutta High Court’s Justice C.S. Karnan was pronounced guilty of contempt for his utterances against the Chief Justice of India along with the other judges of the apex court and the Madras High Court. Today a Supreme court seven-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar barred the electronic and print media from carrying any of his statements. They have also ordered him be jailed for six months.
Justice Karnan had written a series of letters making allegations against the CJI, the judges of the apex court and the Madras high court.
