Tathagata buries the hatchet at Naveen Niwas ; Suparno veils a comment

Bhubaneswar: At a public meeting Dhenkanal MP Tathagata Satpathy had called former Minister and party colleague Debi Prasad Mishra a ‘thief’. Today, BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik had called the duo to his residence Naveen Niwas.

The duo were accompanied by Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das and Rajya Sabha MP Pratap Keshari Deb.

“It was a slip of tongue. I expressed my regret over my remark. We are friends and we don’t have any bitter feelings amongst us,” said Tathagata Satpathy

” Tathagata is a dear friend of mine. He has already spoken in public forum. We both talked about the issue in front of CM,” said Debi Prasad Mishra

Naveen Patnaik on June 8 had sought an explanation from Tathagata for his remark against the party vice president at a public meeting.

Today Tathagata clicked a selfie and tweeted the same announcing his truce with Debi.

To the same Tathagata’s political adversary, noted socio-political leader and Chairman of Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT) Shri. Suparno Satpathy was quick to tweet an interesting veiled comment on this matter.
